  2. Place washed, husked tomatillos on a baking sheet.
  3. Roast tomatillos for 15-20 minutes, until blistered and slightly charred.
  4. While tomatillos are roasting, prepare other ingredients: Dice avocado, chop cilantro, dice onion and jalapeño.
  5. Once the tomatillos are done, remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  6. In a blender or food processor, combine roasted tomatillos, avocado, cilantro, onion, jalapeño, lime juice, garlic, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
