- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until the second side is golden brown.
- Repeat with remaining batter. Serve warm with syrup or your preferred toppings.
