- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick pieces. Place them on a baking sheet.
- Brush the baguette slices lightly with olive oil and toast in the oven for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
- Cut the green tomatoes into small, even chunks and place them in a medium-sized bowl.
- Add the minced garlic, remaining olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, basil, and oregano to the tomatoes. Mix well.
- Remove the toasted baguette slices from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Top each toasted slice with a generous spoonful of the tomato mixture.
- Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top, if using.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional basil leaves if desired.
