- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
- Add diced Japanese turnips and potatoes to the pan and stir well.
- Sprinkle turmeric, cumin, coriander, red chili powder, and salt. Stir to mix the spices evenly with the vegetables.
- Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the turnips and potatoes are tender.
- Stir in the chopped spinach and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spinach is wilted.
- Remove from heat, add lemon juice, and mix well.
- Let the mixture cool slightly, then spoon it onto large lettuce leaves.
- Roll the lettuce leaves into wraps and secure with toothpicks if necessary.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves before serving.
